All ports support Auto MDI/MDIX function, eliminating the need for crossover cables or uplink ports. The built-in VLAN function for port 1~7 makes them cannot communicate with each other which improves the network security. Port 8 is the uplink port which can communicate with port 1~7 as works as a window to communicate with the external network. Loopback mornitoring and alarming function make it easy to mornitor the LAN network environment and via the Loop Alarm LED to remind the ender users be to be aware of the LAN network wihch makes it more efficient for troubleshooting.
